A portion of the proceeds will be donated to Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League 501 (c)(3). Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League, a Humane Society of the Palm Beaches, is a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing pet overpopulation in Palm Beach County through adoption and spay/neuter programs.

"We've seen a 200% increase in sales since the recall began, so, yeah, we are doing well, but I really think it's the pet owners who will ultimately benefit from the recall," says Wolf. "These foods that so many people have been feeding their pets for so long are actually detrimental to the pet's health. It's been an uphill battle trying to get people to change foods, but the recall has sort of called out the big name brands' lack of integrity for us."
Erin Sembler of Boca Raton echoes that sentiment. Erin's Doberman Pincher, Bradley, had suffered skin problems for years, especially at the change of the seasons. She had been feeding Bradley a store bought brand that promised "natural ingredients", but saw no change in Bradley's health despite both her gut feeling and her vet's opinion that at least part of the problem was food related.
